"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me. Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."
Matthew 25:35-40
The FSBC Lawrence church family is passionate about serving as a church body. We believe that serving one another and our community is an essential endeavor for a church family.

Annual Service Projects
Operation Christmas Child
Now - November 03
It is time to pack those shoeboxes as tight as you can to bring smiles and share the good news of Jesus Christ with children and their families. We are currently collecting Operation Christmas Child Shoebox boxes. We would like to go beyond our 110-box goal for 2024. Keep watch of the goal tree, each tag represents a returned box. Please return filled boxes to the table in the foyer. You can contact Julie Lindbloom with any questions at jewelslindbloom@gmail.com.
Trunk-Or-Treat
October 31
Our annual community-wide Trunk-or-Treat will be held from 5:30-6:30pm on October 31. Last year we had such a humongous turnout that we had to make two trips to the store during the event to buy more candy so that we would not run out. There are two ways to help with this event:
Be Rich in Action
November 24
The annual Be Rich in Action campaign is an opportunity for our church family to bless our local schools and a food bank in our community. This year's Be Rich in Action day will be held on Sunday, November 24. On that day we will collect the following:
- New coats for children (sizes S to XL)
- New pairs of socks
- Non-perishable food items
- Special love offering for community agencies
Easter Egg Hunt
10am on Saturday of Easter weekend
On a Saturday before Easter, we invite the children in the community to participate in an Easter Egg Hunt on our grounds. In the weeks prior, our church collects donated plastic eggs and individually-wrapped candies. That day, we have our three hunts organized by age-level followed by giving away special prizes.
