LEADERSHIP

Terry returned as the Interim Pastor at FSBC on December 4, 2023. He previously was the Interim Youth Pastor at FSBC in 1985 and as the Interim Pastor in 1992. Terry, who prefers to be called “T. Mac”, feels that FSBC is his “second home church” when he is not attending his “home church” in Topeka where he currently lives. T. Mac “retired” from KNCSB/Church Forward and Webster Conference Center on January 1, 2018, but he has remained active in ministry as the Chaplain for the Lawrence Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol, Coaching men in ministry,  while also serving churches as an Interim Pastor. T. Mac graduated from Wichita State University in 1978 (BGS), Midwestern Baptist Theological in 1981 (MRE) and Fuller Theological Seminary in 1985 (DMin) Terry and Ginger’s family consists of three daughters, Jamie and her husband Brad in Kansas, Ginger Renee and her husband Kyle in Texas and Janelle and her husband Brad in Florida and they have 9 grandchildren. T. Mac stays active physically doing three things he loves, running, cycling and sky diving. 

Andy has been serving in ministry since 2003 and joined the FSBC team in May 2009. Andy is a graduate of Kansas State University and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Brandy married in 2002 and have four children together – Carter, Aidan, Brylee and Corah. Andy is a do-it-yourselfer with a passion for a good deal. 

Heather has been a member of FSBC since 1989 and worked in children's ministries for 25 years. She graduated from Ottawa University with a degree in Elementary Education. In addition to being our Children's Director, Heather is also a substitute teacher for the Lawrence School District. Heather is married to Scott, a local firefighter. They have three children Jacob, Ethan, and Evann. She enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and creating photo albums. 

An active lay member since 1997, Stephanie joined the staff as Connections Director in September 2019. She graduated in May 2023 with a Master of Divinity with a Concentration for Ministry to Women from Gateway Seminary. In the past few years, Stephanie has had the opportunity to study twice at Jerusalem University College in Israel. Stephanie met her husband, David, at FSBC and they have been married since 1997. Their daughter, Taylor, and son-in-law, Justin, have two young children. They also had a 20-year-old son, Logan, who passed away in November 2023. They also have hosted five high school and two college foreign exchange students. 

Michael joined the FSBC staff in June 2023 as a summer intern for the Student Ministry and has served at the church ever since. He graduated with his bachelors degree from West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas, and is currently studying for his Masters of Divinity at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. He and his wife , Molly, have been married since 2021. He enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and doing leatherwork in his free time.

Erin has been a member of FSBC since 2016. She and her husband, Scott, married in 1999. They have four boys: Ryan, Jackson, Luke and Henry. Erin joined the staff as office coordinator in October 2019, after staying 12 years staying home with her children. When not shuttling the boys, she enjoys reading, working outside and spending time with family and friends. Erin is excited to be serving the FSBC Lawrence family.
