JOE STILES
senior pastor

Joe joined the fsbc staff in 1985 as the Youth Pastor, and in 2008 he became Senior Pastor. Prior to fsbc he served for two other Kansas churches. Joe graduated from Wichita State University in 1983 and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1989.

Joe and Becky's family consists of their daughter Katie and her husband Clay; son Andy and his wife Bri; & son Matt and his wife Emily; and, of utmost importance, their eight grandchildren.  He enjoys spending time with his family and watching sports, especially KU athletics.

ANDY MILLER
pastor of students

Andy has been serving in ministry since 2003 and joined the fsbc team in May 2009. Andy is a graduate of Kansas State University and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

He and his wife Brandy married in 2002 and have four children together – Carter, Aidan, Brylee and Corah. Andy is a do-it-yourselfer with a passion for a good deal.

HEATHER SERATTE
children's director

Heather has been a member of fsbc since 1989 and worked in children's ministries for 25 years. She graduated from Ottawa University with a degree in Elementary Education. In addition to being the fsbc Children's Director, Heather is also a substitute teacher for the Lawrence School District.

Heather is married to Scott, a local firefighter. They have three children Jacob, Ethan, and Evann.  She enjoys attending her kids activities, cooking, and creating photo albums.

STEPHANIE HAMBY
connections director

An active lay member of FSBC since 1997, Stephanie joined the staff as Connections Director in September 2019. She graduates in May 2023 with a Master of Divinity with a Concentration for Ministry to Women from  Gateway Seminary.

Stephanie met her husband, David, at FSBC and they have been married since 1997.  Their daughter, Taylor, and son-in-law, Justin, recently became parents of a baby girl. Their son, Logan, and daughter-in-law, Megan, are both Marines. They also have hosted five foreign exchange students.

ERIN ROBERTS
office coordinator

Erin has been a member of FSBC since 2016. She and her husband, Scott, married in 1999. They have four boys: Ryan, Jackson, Luke and Henry. Erin joined the staff as office coordinator in October 2019, after staying 12 years staying home with her children. When not shuttling the boys, she enjoys reading, working outside and spending time with family and friends. Erin is excited to be serving the FSBC Lawrence family.
