senior adult ministries

Our mission is to connect seniors with God and others.
We have two Bible studies for senior adults: one for senior adult ladies and one senior co-ed class. The ladies class meets in the church office and the co-ed class meets in the church library. Both classes meet at 9:45am on Sundays.

SENIOR ADULT ROAD TRIP TO ABILENE

SENIOR ADULT ROAD TRIP: If you are 70+, please join us on our first Senior Adult Ministry all-day road trip to Abilene on June 1. We will meet at FSBC at 8:15am and ride together to Abilene. While there, we will stop in at the Russell Stover candy store and tour both the Eisenhower Museum and Boyhood Home. Please bring a sack lunch to enjoy in between our museum visits. We will have a delicious early dinner at the Brookville Hotel/Legacy Kansas before returning to the church in Lawrence by 8:30pm.

COST: $50. This includes transportation costs, a stop at the Russell Stover store, Eisenhower museum and boyhood home entrance fees, and a dinner at the Brookville Hotel.
